How to use the MyPot 1m2 kit, what does it include and what do I need?

This kit has been designed to be used on 1m ² hydroponic trays with recirculation . To use it, install the tray and the support, place the 4 modules on top of the tray, place a tank under the tray, install the pump inside the tank, prepare the fertilizer and program the watering.

FERTILIZATION

MyPot scientists have developed a line of fertilizers that makes the fertilization process as simple as possible. Fertilization is carried out using an online APP that indicates weekly the doses of fertilizer that the plants need depending on the quality of the water you have. Using it is very easy, you only need to enter the liters to be prepared, the initial EC of your water and the cultivation phase.

We recommend a maximum initial EC for irrigation water of 0'6 , the ideal is 0'2-0'3. EC indicates the amount of salts in the water, a high initial EC is detrimental since it reduces the amount of fertilizer that can be added to the water.

When stabilizing the pH of the nutrient solution, preferably use products based on phosphoric acid.

We recommend to dispose of the excess irrigation water from the tank weekly before preparing the new nutrient solution.

Tip for the first watering:

Consider that in the first irrigation each plantation module will store 6L of water, so it is 24L for each square meter. Also consider that the plants in their initial phases will not consume a large amount of water, so prepare about 40-50L of nutrient solution in the first watering, 24L for the modules and the rest to be re-circulated.

TECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS

PLANTATION

Fill the planting module with medium-grain perlite substrate (3-6). The only recommended substrate to be used in MyPot is perlite. Using other substrates may decrease performance.

Once the module is full, hydrate the perlite and plant in its holes:

• From cutting : plant 8 plants per module
• From seed : plant up to 6 plants per module

Plant as if it were in the ground, insert the root as deep as possible and cover it gently with perlite.

ILLUMINATION

MyPot recommends using the best possible quality lighting for the best crop performance. MyPot is suitable to be used with any existing HPS (600W or 1000W), LED, LEC or outdoor lighting technology.

In indoor cultivation it is advisable to line the walls of the premises with suitable materials to increase the reflection index.

PHOTO PERIODS

In general, in the crops grown in MyPot, the plants need a lower growth phase than in soil crops. The duration of the photoperiod phase will depend on several factors such as whether the plants are grown from seed or cutting, the size with which they are transplanted or the lighting used.

CUTTINGS: it is advisable to always give them a few days of growth regardless of the lighting used.

SEEDS and 1000W HPS: plants can be put directly to flowering photoperiod

SEEDS and other lighting : give a maximum of 7-10 days of growth photoperiods

NOTE: There are products on the market to stop growth, in case it is necessary to consult the manufacturer.

PRUNING

The goal of introducing a high plant density is to harvest beautiful center flowers. It is recommended to prune the lower branches that will have low productivity in the pre-flowering stage.

EXTERIOR

MyPot is highly recommended to be used in outdoor crops. The main recommendation is that if you want to grow an early crop, it should be done with automatic plants.

For the cultivation of regular plants, it is recommended to plant them in the middle of the summer period to avoid excessive growth.
