The non-return flap allows the air to flow outwards, but prevents the entry of air from the outside into the growing space.

It closes the duct automatically when the air flow from the extractor stops, preventing insects from entering from outside, or if you make a circuit with extractors, so that the air does not escape where it should not.
It is a spring-loaded hatch that only opens when air blows in the right direction, preventing air from coming back from where it enters or insects from entering when closed.
