Milwaukee Redox and PH Controller (MC125)

    PHEC0142

    Sold by Natural SystemsMore information

The MC125 PH and Redox Controller is a PH and REDOX combo controller meter. It has two coupling sockets to connect external equipment (ozone generator, electro-valve or dosing pump)

The MC125 PH and Redox Controller coupled with a solenoid valve for CO2 and an ozone generator is ideal for aquariums, fish farming.

1- In its PH function, the MC125 PH and Redox Controller continuously measures the PH and we can attach a solenoid valve or any solenoid valve or dosing pump that will be activated when the controller meter has passed the chosen set point.

In its PH function, the MC125 PH and Redox Controller has a scale of 0.0 to 14.4 pH. Its calibration is manual. Its external equipment control block has a wheel to set the setpoint data: from 0.5 to 9.5 pH. At the same time that the external equipment is activated, a visual alarm (red led) will also be activated.

The calibration of the MC125 PH and Redox Controller in its PH function is manual (in 2 points: pH 7.01 and pH 4.01 / 10.1); Range: 0.0 to 14.0 pH; Resolution: 0.1pH; Accuracy: 0.2pH

PH electrode: MA911B / 2, with 2 meter cable, BNC connector (included)

2- In its Redox function, the MC125 PH and Redox Controller continuously measures the redox potential of your water.

The Redox is a method of controlling the quality of the water; It informs us about the oxidation / reduction potential of water. a) Aquariums: In fresh water, from 250mV are considered good values. Sea water values range from 350 to 400mV. b) Pools: The value necessary to eliminate certain bacteria is 700mV. c) Waste water: Redox measurement is used above all in the detoxification of waste water, with the reduction of chromate or the oxidation of cyanide.

The MC125 PH and Redox Controller has another socket and coupling (in addition to the socket for the PH function), to connect an ozone generator that will be activated when the controller meter has passed the setpoint that we have chosen.

In its ORP Redox function, the MC125 is factory calibrated.

3 / Installation of MC125 PH and Redox Controller:

Connect the 12VDC adapter of the MC125 PH and Redox Controller meter to a multi-socket strip

Connect 12VDC transformer to power and MC125 monitor
Connect the coupling sockets to the mains (2 x Black and white socket)
Connect the MA921 ORP Redox probe to the monitor in its ORP connector
Connect the PH probe MA911 to the monitor in its PH connector
Remove the protective caps from the electrodes.
Immerse the pH and Redox electrodes in the water to be measured (2.5 cm) and let them float with the help of a wide polyexpan for example.
Turn on the meter by pressing the ON / OFF button
Choose PH or Redox menu by moving the central black button (Up: ORP Redox; Down: PH)
In both functions, choose the sense of the parameter (eg: for PH rising, button in "above" position); The same in the Redox menu.
Set the set point for each parameter, with the help of the graduated wheel for each parameter.
Allow the reading to stabilize and the meter will begin continuous monitoring.
A visual alarm indicates when the measurement exceeds the set point.
When the alarm is activated, the docking station is also activated, and from there the auxiliary equipment is turned on.
    PH calibration:

Go to PH menu (middle black button down)
Immerse the electrode in an envelope of pH7.01 calibration liquid and wait for the data to stabilize. With the help of the screwdriver, adjust the data to pH7.0
Immerse the electrode in an envelope of pH4.01 or pH10.01 calibration liquid and wait for the data to stabilize. Using the screwdriver, adjust the data to pH4.0 or pH10.01
The meter is calibrated and ready to measure in PH.
It is advisable to calibrate the meter at least once a month, or after a long period of non-use or after changing the electrode.
