PRO-XL Ph Up 1L
PRO-XL Ph Up 1L increases the pH of irrigation solutions that contain potassium hydroxide as an active agent.
The degree of acidity in the soil is essential for the absorption of nutrients by the plant, so maintaining an adequate pH is vital for the growth of the plant.
pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of water, and can vary naturally or due to factors external. Most plants prefer an irrigation water pH in the range of 6 to 7, slightly acidic to neutral.
If the pH of irrigation water is too high or too low, it can prevent adequate nutrient uptake by the roots of the plants. For example, if the pH of the water is too high, it can decrease the solubility of the nutrients such as iron, manganese and zinc, which can cause deficiencies in plants. On the other hand, if the pH is too low, it can decrease the absorption of calcium, phosphorus and other nutrients
How to use:
- Shake well before use. Pour the Ph into the water tank until reaching values that range from 5.5 to 6.
