Thanks to its unique characteristics, coir is one of the best growing media on the market today, provides excellent drainage capacity, air space for oxygenation and a correct capacity of moisture retention thanks to the high percentage of perlite it contains.

It is a substrate with a high capacity for cation exchange between molecules. This feature allows the positively charged cations such as Na+ and K+ are released and made available to plants

It contains a nutritional contribution NPK so that the plants begin their growth cycle without there being symptoms of deficiencies, which supposes a saving in fertilizers, since it is not necessary to fertilize from the beginning.

Being an organic substrate, coconut fibers slowly degrade, which favors microbial life of the substrate to proliferate, converting waste products into nutrients available to plants.
