Aphiline contains the aphid parasitic wasp Aphidius Colemani, a small braconid hymenopteran, between 2-3 mm, with a dark-colored body and long antennae.

Under favorable conditions, it completes its life cycle in just two weeks. It is the females of the species that They have the ability to oviposit inside the adult aphids, which do not die immediately, but which are slowly emptied as the Aphidius larva develops inside the aphid. In the end the parasitized aphid becomes the characteristic brown mummy from which a new wasp will emerge parasatirira.

Aphiline Vial contains purified mummies in sufficient quantity to produce 1,000 Aphidius colemani. The adults begin to go out in search of aphids, and before the end of their lives they will have parasitized between 200 and 300 of them.

How to use:

• Open the vial once in the crop between plants.
• Remove the cap from the vial holding the vial at a 45º angle.
• Early morning or late afternoon, begin to release adults by tapping the open vial by walking through the crop. If no adults come out or very few come out, it is recommended to close the vial and wait for their number to grow.
• Leave the open vial in an upright position for 3 or 4 days for the last wasps to emerge.
• Target crops: All sheltered and outdoor crops.
• Target pest: small aphids such as Aphis gossypii and Myzus persicae.
