Chrysoline - Tube contains 1,000 Individuals of the predatory insect Chrysoperla carnea, for the biological fight against aphids and other harmful species of soft-bodied insects such as whiteflies, mealybugs, thrips, mites and Lepidoptera eggs.
The Chrysoperla Carnea is a generalist predatory insect of the neuroptera order of great value for crops ecological, since it exerts a natural control on numerous species of plagues. This reduces the uncertainty of species identification.
Only the larvae are predators, which detect their prey by direct contact. They move through the crop randomly moving its head from left to right until its antennae detect prey, then they attack by ramming, impaling their victim.
Chrysoline is supplied in a tube with larvae mixed with a carrier material. It is recommended for localized releases in foci due to their high shock effect; a larva can consume up to 200 aphids large (like M. euphorbiae) and up to 400 small aphids (like A.gossypii or M. persicae). Ideal for treatments spotlights due to its shock effect.
