Aphidoletes aphidimyza is a mosquito that is a top predator of aphids (aphids). Once the mosquito emerges as an adult from the pupa begins its hunting activity immediately. They have great mobility and a great ability to detect dams. The females lay their eggs in the middle of the aphid colonies, so that after hatching, the larvae They have food very close.

In dense aphid colonies, Aphidoletes larvae will kill more aphids than they can eat; a single larva it can kill more than 35 aphids during its life cycle. This is important for control because it improves the efficiency of Aphidoletes at high aphid densities, while allowing it to survive if aphid colonies are reduced.

Aphidoline is supplied in units of four blister packs; each container contains enough pupae to produce 250 adults.

How to use:

• Open the blisters in the culture
• Remove the foil from the blister packs from the envelope, and peel along the perforations.
• Fold the card forward slightly at the top of the blister pack and pull the tab up.
• Hang the open blister on the leaf petioles within the crop, so that it is in a shady position.
