Amblyline contains the predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris, effective against the larvae of various thrips species. It disperses rapidly, does not enter diapause, and also feeds on pollen. Ideal for multiple crops in immediate-release or slow-release sachet formats.
The biological control agent Amblyline uses the predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris to effectively control the first thrips larvae, such as those of the western flower thrips. This predator disperses quickly, does not enter diapause, and maintains itself over the long term by feeding on pollen. Its optimum life cycle develops at 20–25°C. It is available in two formats: loose material for an immediate and massive release of mites, or breeding sachets for a gradual and long-lasting release over several weeks.
