Bugfood E-Vial contains eggs of Ephestia kuehniella, a moth considered a pest in cereals, but one Once released in the rest of crops, it serves as a food supplement for established predators such as Biological control of harmful species in crops.

Biological control is increasingly the option chosen by growers around the world, making it a sector booming where research and development are the cornerstone. Bugfood provides supplemental food to the most predatory insects when the pest is still incipient or non-existent.

It works especially well for feeding the predatory insect Macrolophus whitefly, as this insect is slow to establish, so it must be released early in the crop cycle, well before the peak of pest pressure.

Bugfood E contains Ephestia eggs. In addition to the Ephestia weight, both products will also include a small number of dehydrated Artemia cysts. These are added to the product to maintain the desired moisture during transport, but they are also a suitable food for predatory insects.

Instructions for use:
