Nesiline - Pot 500 Individuals - Nesidiocoris Tenuis for biological control of greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporarium) and tomato whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). It can also feed on aphids, mites, thrips, as well as eggs and small larvae of lepidoptera, such as Tuta absoluta.
Nesiline contains the predatory bug Nesidiocoris Tenuis which is a highly active polyphagous predator that feeds on mainly whitefly, but it can engulf other species of Lepidoptera, devouring their eggs and larvae.
The Nesidiocoris tenuis bug passes from egg to 5 intermediate stages as a larva, until it finally reaches the adult maturity. The cycle is completed in approximately 30-35 days, depending on the environmental temperature.
Orius larvae are green or yellow in color with pale antennae striped with black. Adults are colored green and have wings to fly.
Nesidiocoris nymphs and adults are very active and voracious. Once released, they tirelessly search for their food. It prefers eggs and small larvae, but will not hesitate to attack any state of whitefly. Nesidiocoris Tenuis is supplied in a pot containing 500 adults.
