Years ago the Jiffy group stopped using PE and PP plastics to implement PLA mesh, an ecological alternative of Polylactic Acid (PLA), which reduces our environmental impact, while protecting the future of gardening because no plastic ends up in landfills or in the oceans.

Jiffy Growblock PLA is a ready-to-use growing system with a ready-made intermediate container, whose function is to provide convenience and flexibility in quick and easy planting. They can be used in combination with all kinds of fertilizers in a wide range of electrical conductivity and pH.

It is made exclusively of 100% RHP certified coconut fiber, where the coconut has been washed and carefully stabilized to achieve the maximum water retention capacity that reaches percentages between 60% and 75%.

To this is added the high porosity it presents, between 20-35% of the volume is filled with air to guarantee diffusion of oxygen at optimal levels in the root growth zone.

Format:

• Cube of 8 x 8 x 6 cm, expandable to 430 cm3.

How to use:

1. Immerse in water for 10 min. It is recommended to use distilled water and add root stimulator.
2. Remove from the water and drain until dripping stops. It should only be moist, not waterlogged.
3. We put the seed in the opening that the Jiffy has and cover it just enough so we don't see it. In case of cutting, we introduce it and press gently.
4. Check it regularly and moisten it if necessary, so that it never dries out.
5. When the seed germinates, or the cutting takes root, it is time to transplant to the medium of your choice.
