Substrate for seeds and propagation of cuttings Semillero de Meliflor. It is a balanced mixture of peat, with different characteristics, designed to establish the best possible conditions during the rooting of seeds, seedlings and cuttings.

Format:

The special Semillero substrate has been developed for propagation of cuttings and seeds. Provides a medium ideal where the water retention capacity, aeration and drainage favor the growth and development of the plant. root.

The mixture of the Semillero substrate uses high quality peat from national peat bogs. 70 percent of sphagnum peat, 10% black peat and 20% coconut fiber, ensure a loose and airy structure, which allows the oxygenation of the roots.

A small percentage of calcium carbonate is added to the mixture so that the Ph of the substrate is included between favorable values ??for rooting.

Similarly, the Semillero substrate has been created to offer low electroconductivity, since low levels of salinity favor the growth of root tissue.
